Wehrpass belonging to Herman Franz Jacobi.
During World War I, he served from 1916 to 1919 in the 104th Saxon Infantry Regiment, which saw action at the Battle of the Somme in July 1916. Decorated with the EK2, he received the Verwundetenabzeichen (wound badge).
In November 1944, he joined the SS-Verfügungstruppe, specifically the 3rd Company of the SS-Totenkopf-Wachbataillon at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.
